When we go to restaurants to dine out, there definitely is a sense of trust if it has an open kitchen. It's very inclusive and inviting. They have a dumpling section right by the front window of the restaurant where passers-by can get a clear view of Dumpling Masters filling in dumplings.
Everything on the menu here at Juicy Bao Bao is very affordable and you don't have to wait long for your order to arrive even during peak hours. So despite having to wait in the line to get inside, the turn over here is very quick.

Shang-hai stir fried noodles |
This was your average Shanghai stir-fried noodles with shredded meat and vegetables for $12.8. The noodles were a tad overcooked for my personal preference (I like a little texture in noddles). So I would most likely order something else next time I visit the restaurant.

Juicy soup dumplings (Xiao Long Bao) |
It just seemed like a must-order dish at Juicy Bao Bao, given that they are the same owners of Authentic Bites Dumpling House on Newcastle Street in Northbridge, or in any dumplings house for that matter.
They were juicy and the broth inside was delicious but the ones from Din Tai Fung in Taiwan still are the best out of all the Shanghai dumplings I've tried so far.

Crispy and plump |
I am seriously addicted to pan-fried dumplings. We've tried the ones at Yang's Dumplings inside the Waterford Plaza in Bentley and loooved them. The fact that its dumpling dough is so thick and chewy, soft on the top but crispy on the bottom and juicy and hot broth inside it have made me fall in love with these babies. For under 10 bucks for 6 pieces, filled with well-seasoned pork content, they definitely are the must-get at Juicy Bao Bao.
BYO at no extra cost.
Opening hours are 11.30 to 3pm and 5.30 to 9pm daily and Closed on Wednesdays.
