Mount Claremont Village Bakery Bread and coffee, what's not to love? Few outdoor seatings available Coffee + Bread = 💓 As a family owned business, Mt Claremont Village Bakery brings all the locals to the spot. Not only do they sell rock & roll artisan breads, bagels to desserts, one of the owners Emmett and his dad Sean are the nicest people we've met; it was like talking to one of our neighbours! When asked what was their most popular product in house, he couldn't specify a single item. The reason being they sell out of most of their baked goods in the morning! From humble cinnamon rolls to strawberry tarts and doughnuts, everything from their bakery is a winner. And we really mean it when we say it's a winner! At the Royal Food Award for Bread and Pastry show in 2016, they won Bronze in sausage rolls and pasties, Silver in artisan sweet and flavoured breads, Silver in Sourdough, and Gold in ciabatta rolls. Yes, they mean serious bread...

La Belle sweets

Image
The name La Belle resonates with the top quality delicacies sold at their store. Outdoor seating Few delicacies Flatlay La Belle Sweets is owned by a hard working and humble couple Felicia and Crispin, baking and serving customers as well as stepping into the barista role sometimes. Their patisserie is about baking top quality pastries that look pleasing but also are delicious. Three years in business at the spot in Lathlain, they have expanded to second store in Belmont Forum as well. I think the secret to their business is always trying new things and baking something different and limited. For example, the Pikachu pastry they made in 2016, selection of eclairs they served for a week, delectable croissants topped with specially themed fillings such as the Pirates of Caribbean. CHECK out their Instagram for amazing creations and follow to stay on top of them! They also take cake orders including Croquembouche with prices starting around $40. Top qual...

It incorporates layers of smooth, creamy caramel topped with walnuts and honey crumbs using natural, preservatives free ingredients. Not only do they sell cakes, but they range from icecream pops in collaboration with #pashpop, to different flavours of honeycake including chocolate, cheesecake and now PANDAN! I still cannot believe the first time I've tried the cake. Velvety smooth, and just a pleasure in my mouth. Luckily, they are always generously offering tasters at their shops - courtesy to the owner Simona, a lovely lady who has passion for her delicious creation and the customers. They take cake orders too - at least two days in advance, including a premium gift box with value of $49 which can be made of two flavours.
