La Belle Sweets is owned by a hard working and humble couple Felicia and Crispin, baking and serving customers as well as stepping into the barista role sometimes. Their patisserie is about baking top quality pastries that look pleasing but also are delicious. Three years in business at the spot in Lathlain, they have expanded to second store in Belmont Forum as well. I think the secret to their business is always trying new things and baking something different and limited. For example, the Pikachu pastry they made in 2016, selection of eclairs they served for a week, delectable croissants topped with specially themed fillings such as the Pirates of Caribbean.
CHECK out their Instagram for amazing creations and follow to stay on top of them!
They also take cake orders including Croquembouche with prices starting around $40.

The glossy mirrored chocolate layered cake was my favourite out of all pastries. It was not too sweet, light and creamy with a biscuit bottom layer.Tasting |
Hightea inspiration |
Savoury croissants |
Sadly, their stores are not large enough to seat people down for high-tea but their pastries will surely impress the guests if you buy these and set them up yourself at home.
All pastries are hand crafted such as the croissants and sometimes they create amazing fillings for the them. In the past, they created themed fillings such as Pirates of Caribbean croissants and red velvet croissants with delicious toppings on top of the croissants. On the tasting day, they created the savoury croissants with smoked salmon and also the ones with avocado and rocket.
Macarons |
Pop into their second store in Belmont Forum this Thursday the 9th of August. It's their grand opening and they will be giving out FREE macaron box to the first 50 customers who spend $10 in-store. It's a good chance to try their pastries if you haven't tried and get something in return! They may become one of your favourite dessert stores. 😍
