The standard

 The high standard at the Standard Perth sets the bar for classy bars in Perth! Too many puns for your liking? ;) T he chef Chase Weber has been working hard since the beginning of the Standard, fusing Asian cuisine into Western bar culture to pair with cocktails and wines and beers, and has been doing it well. In fact, he was crowned the winner of the competition at the Winning Appliances for the WA Good Food Guide's Chef's cook-off. This turmeric wafer duck salad was the winning dish. Most dishes are designed to be shared (or not to be shared which are some of the other dishes on offer on menu). The Spring/Summer menu here is all brand-new except for two dishes which managed to stay; one of which is their famous kangaroo dish (Caramelised kangaroo, sesame soy custard, pineapple, finger lime).
