Winter is finally here as marked by the Winterworld in Fremantle which officially launched yesterday.

Get your tickets for some family fun exclusive during this July winter, and right now you can save by buying early bird tickets (available to use until 29th of June). There's something for everyone from outdoor skating, winter markets and cabin bar with mulled wine to cosy open fire pit where you can torch up giant marshmallows for 2 bucks, real snow pit, giant inflatable slide, and fire and ice performances on the ice rink stage.

Thailand cuisine is a favourite cuisine for many including myself. Thaitation hasn’t been around for long but it has certainly made itself known in the Floreat Forum block. It’s a small restaurant with an inviting alfresco dining area. And you can expect full bookings on busy Friday and weekend nights. Upon entering, you instantly hear the chefs in the kitchen speaking in Thai, knockings of woks in the background and you are hit with smell of fish sauce and coconut milk. You see tanks of fish oil and coconut milk stacked up on the kitchen bench. They offer authentic yet modern flavours. Foodies will probably agree- the most frequently asked question we get is: " Can you recommend me a good food place/restaurant? " It's definitely a part of the job (or a serious hobby in my case) requirement to answer this question. Most of the time I'm reluctant to tell people anywhere in particular because: 1) everyone's taste buds are different, 2) there are so many restaurants, it is hard to pick just one or two! 3) I don't want to tell anyone about my secret place sometimes hahah. But today, I wanted to share some of my favourite places to eat out in Perth. Again, I want to emphasise that I wasn't sponsored in any way to eat at these places and that it is my personal taste.
