Meet Harry at QV1
QV1 plaza aims to bring people together and create an unexpected environment for people to drink, dine and dwell.
The name Harry ATM at QV1 Plaza comes from Harry Seidler, an internationally renowned modern architect who designed the building, hence the name.Their latest project was on Friday the 22nd of June where they activated the Harry ATM. People lined up from as early as 11am to be the first ones to type in the code and receive some freebies. However, you must sign up on their website to get the code.
They gave out free goodies from coffee, muffin to vouchers to redeem hot food and salads from the Eat House in the plaza which must be used on that day. The ATM reminded us of the Cupcake ATM in New York, United States we used when we were there. It was a massive hype back in 2014.
We arrived there at 11.30AM on the dot and the line was already massive. We had to wait in line for approximately an hour before we could use the ATM so we advise people to either be there early around 11.15AM or to come after the rush at around 12.45-1PM. QV1 states that the ATM will be giving out around 400 goodies between 11.30AM to 2.30PM and when we were in line, there were about 200 people so there are plenty of stuff to go around at 1 - 2PM as well.
We each received different goodies- fresh juice, salad, muffin from Eat House |
They will email out a code each week once you are signed up, and inform you when it'll be in action again hence giving you a chance to redeem Harry goodies if you want to see what the hype is all about!
